Profitool Express runs on a variety of Unix platforms.
The following are the minimum system requirements to run Profitool Express:

  • RedHat Linux 6.2
  • Pentium III server system, 400MHz or higher
  • 256MB RAM
  • 4GB disk space, plus 10-50GB disk space for database storage
  • Ethernet network adapter
The following hardware and operating system platforms are also supported:
  • Hewlett-Packard 9000 Series Unix servers running HP-UX
  • IBM RS/6000 systems (now eServer pSeries) running AIX
  • Compaq AlphaServers running Tru64 Unix
Profitool Express can utilize popular RDBMS products from both Informix and Oracle.
